Data Protection Architecture
Data Protection Commitment
Easy Tools Kit is built around a local-first principle: process source files on the user's device whenever possible and avoid permanent server storage.
How Data Protection Works
- Local-only tools: trimming, muting, audio extraction, thumbnails, rotation, compression, frame extraction, video info checks, image transparency editing, and PDF editing run in the browser for supported files.
- Local-first tools: video splitting and speed changes try local processing first and use server processing only when enabled and needed.
- Temporary storage: server-processed inputs and outputs are stored only for a limited time.
- Short-lived links: server download URLs expire quickly and can be reissued only while valid job metadata remains.
User Notes
- Save locally generated result files before closing or reloading the page.
- Download server-processed results promptly because signed URLs expire.
- Keep long-term copies on your own device or storage service.
